Mixology
Want to make your own henna like a pro? In this class students will make their own henna, learn how to cone it, and learn a simple design to apply on family and friends. Real henna artists make their own fresh henna — this class will be using henna powder, essential oil, sugar, and water as ingredients. Please don’t wear your favorite outfit as henna has the potential to get messy!
Suitable for ages 11+ (or younger with parental participation). Class can be adjusted to work for all ages, including adults. One-on-one or group class
Design Builder
The most common comment I get is, “wow, did you just come up with that design on the spot? How?” The Design Builder class will give you the foundation to create unique henna designs for your friends, family, or clients. This class is great for those who want to get straight into it — the application (aka the fun part) or as a secondary class to Mixology. In this class students will learn what makes a stunning, balanced design that best suits the canvas.
Suitable for ages 11+ (or younger with parental participation). Class can be adjusted to work for all ages, including adults. One-on-one or group class
Intensive Workshop (5 weeks)
This one is for those who want to dive right into a new hobby or for those who are thinking of starting henna as a career or side hustle.
Week 1- Mixology
Week 2- The Basics
Week 3- Design Builder + Design Execution
Week 4- Application
Week 5- Community Henna Night
Students will learn: how to make their own henna, the basic ground level elements of every henna design, how to make their own design, how to apply henna, and finally how to apply henna to friends and customers.
This class has no age limit — if you’re willing to do your best with a positive attitude then you are welcome! This class is not exclusive to those who want to learn henna for profit, this is great for anyone who wants to learn a unique skill or improve on their art skills as a whole. I promise, everyone loves the person at the party that asks, “does anyone want some henna?”
